We offer you our sincere thanks for all of your support during this campaign! Because of you, we have been able to have a successful campaign for 44 BCE! We had 552 people that believed in 44 BCE, enough to back it on Kickstarter! Thank you all! You contributed over $46,000.00 to bring this game that we have been working on for the last 18 years to life! You funded 44 BCE in 65 minutes through your incredible support! You have unlocked a total of 8 stretch goals that have allowed us to add game content, upgrade components and bring 44 BCE to Board Game Arena! Thank you! Thank you! And thank you again!
We are now ready to move into the next phase of this project, and that will end with 44 BCE arriving at your doorstep and making its way onto your game table!
Next Steps
Outside of providing you with an incredible game, one of our top goals over the next few months will be to ensure that we have outstanding communication with you. Below are the series of actions currently in progress or that will begin soon. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We are making final preparations to send all art and game components to the manufacturer vetting prior to starting production.
We have already started having our artist work on some of our Emperor level pledges.
In the coming days, we will be reaching out to all Emperor level supporters to be ready to have our artist begin work on your artwork.
We will be getting the pledge manager set up and open for each of you to complete all information necessary for us to complete your rewards.

As of right now, we are just a few pledges short of unlocking UPGRADED CARDS!Â
This upgrade will turn all the cards into linen finish, and we will swap the cards for a heavier cardstock. Heavy decisions require sturdier cards, wouldn't you agree?Â
With only 3 days remaining, we wanted to announce our last and final stretch goal.Â
This upgrade will take the Player screens from 1.5mm to 2.0mm, making them on par with DM screens for those of you who are familiar with TTRPGs.Â

It has been a hectic few days at Origins, and we wanted to thank everyone who has joined us at the booth. Â From meeting backers, and a lot of the wonderful people from the industry this has been a memorable trip.Â

Hello, friends, Romans, countrymen!
We are now 2 weeks into our 44 BCE campaign. Thank you for your support, but we still need your help! We are heading to Origins Game Fair this week, and we are giving away one copy of 44 BCE Standard Edition to celebrate! Enter below, share on social media and follow us to get extra entries.
We unlocked our fifth stretch goal last week, so we will now be upgrading our box to be thicker and more sturdy so that it will stand up to any game night!
Our next goal is to upgrade the Recruit cards in 44 BCE to make them thicker and better feeling. We will also be adding a new stretch goal every day that we are at Origins, so keep your eyes open and enter our giveaway above to help us meet these stretch goals and more!
New Languages
As you read this, the 44 BCE rules are being translated into French! We have identified other resources to get translations started into other languages. All we are waiting for is you ... tell us in which language you would like to see the rules available!

Thank you all again for backing 44 BCE! We truly appreciate all of your support and enthusiasm for this project!
Rules Translation
You asked for French rules in 44 BCE, and we heard you! We are very excited to let you know that the rules will now be made available in French! We are continuing to look into having the rules translated into other languages as well. If there are other languages that you would like to see, please reach out and let us know.
New Add-Ons
We have had a few requests to be able to get more than one copy of 44 BCE per order. So, we have created two new add-ons. You can now get multiple copies of 44 BCE in a single order. There are now add-ons for both the Standard Edition and the Emperor Edition. Â
Stretch Goals Update
Thank you all for the great suggestions for new stretch goals! We now have 2 new stretch goals based on your suggestions and are looking at adding even more. The first new goal we have is an upgraded, thicker, more durable box. We are very close to unlocking this one! The second goal that we added is to have upgraded cards. These will be thicker card stock providing a better feeling and a more durable deck of cards.
We have had some other great suggestions that we are looking into, and hope to be able to announce them soon! Thank you again for all of the wonderful suggestions!
