Hello friends, Romans, and countrymen!
We have exciting news for you! We have just opened the pledge manager!
Pledge Manager
When you receive the email invitation to our pledge manager survey, please take a moment to fill it out. Your support is very much appreciated, and we cannot wait to show our gratitude by cementing your name on the Founders of Rome page of our rulebook!
If you pledged at the Equester level or higher, please make sure that you submit your name as you would like it to appear in the rules. We will be finalizing the rulebook on June 18, 2023. Complete your survey before Monday, June 18, so that we are able to put your name in the rules as one of the Founders of Rome!
This will complete the rulebook and force Holt to stop his daily debate of “the” vs. “this” and “Should we move this image 2 pixels to the right?" LOL!
Additionally, we are offering a local pick-up option. Those of you in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, or the surrounding area, feel free to select this option from the "Select your country for shipping:" dropdown list when you start the backer survey. Local pickup details will follow in the next few months once we have finalized all of the details of our pickup events.
Other Updates
Details are important to us, and we want to give you a game created to the best of our abilities. We noticed a strange pixelation on several icons, so we have spent the last few weeks reworking these images.

Hello friends, Romans, countrymen!
Good news! We have made tremendous progress in the past 2 weeks. Please see below why we are excited and are beginning to see the water (light) at the end of the aqueduct (tunnel)!
We have received another piece of custom art for the "Signifer."
As a Level 2 Military Recruit, the Signifer costs 2 Military Influence and 1 Loyalty to Enlist. When played, the Signifer guarantees 1 Authority in the Military Field. Will you convince your fellow Suitors to give you Support Influence in Military to increase his Authority? Or will you even play him as you promised?
Back Office by Naylor Games expects to have the pledge manager open before the end of the month. (This is good news as countless requests for late pledges have been received!)
Currently, we are working on an updated logistics schedule and will have a timeline including fulfillment at our next update.

Meet the New Vestalis

Hello friends, Romans, countrymen!
We have worked hard and made significant strides over the last few weeks in several areas.
- The professional editorial review of the rulebook and reference sheets for consistency and clarity has been completed.
- All graphic design on all Structure Tiles is just about finished.
- The design work for manufacturing punchboard templates for Longpack is now done.
- We expect to begin work on the pledge manager with Back Office by Naylor Games in early May.
Additionally, we received a piece of custom art for an Emperor pledge. We are excited to unveil this piece, the Vestalis!
As a loyal Social Recruit, the Vestalis helps ensure you will receive the Support Influence necessary to command Authority and predictably control your best-laid plans for victory during the Resolution Phase!

April 2023 Update

Hello friends, Romans, countrymen!
We now have signed an agreement with Back Office by Naylor Games to manage all of the logistics for the remainder of this project, including getting the pledge manager opened. They are currently engaged with other clients through the end of April but will start to work on 44 BCE beginning in May.
We also want to take a moment to acknowledge our lack of communication over the last few months. This is a shortcoming about which we are disappointed in ourselves. In order to correct this, we have adjusted our process and schedule to get out updates on a monthly basis. We look forward to putting in the work to provide you, our backers, with consistent updates!

January Progress Report

Hello friends, Romans, countrymen! Â
As you have seen, we struggled with various items both personal and game related, but we have good news!! Â As 44 BCE moves forward, we have joined forces once again with Dina Ramse, a consultant with many years of experience in the board game space!
Our immediate area of focus is sorting out VAT so that we can open the pledge manager. Additionally, we will be getting assistance with finalizing and tweaking files and artwork with proper manufacturing specifications.
The miniatures are a bit ahead of schedule and already queued with Longpack. Â As always, thank you for your amazing support and patience! We cannot wait to deliver 44 BCE to you!
