We are thrilled to share a significant development with you regarding the production of our game.

We have received the digital sample of 44 BCE, including all of the miniatures, from our manufacturer. To put it simply: it looks absolutely amazing! We couldn't be more excited about how the game is shaping up, and we know you'll be just as thrilled when you see it. Here are some pictures of the digital sample for your viewing pleasure:

While reviewing the digital sample, we identified a few very minor issues. However, rest assured that we have already addressed and corrected these issues with our manufacturer. Your satisfaction and the overall quality of 44 BCE are our top priorities.

Now, for the most exciting part: we have officially given our manufacturer the green light to commence mass production of 44 BCE! The production process is set to begin immediately, and we estimate that it will take approximately 50 to 70 days to complete. During this time, our team will work closely with the manufacturer to ensure that every detail is perfect, from the game components to the packaging.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and patience throughout this journey. It is because of backers like you that 44 BCE has become a reality, and we can't wait to get the finished product into your hands.

We have some updates to share regarding the progress of 44 BCE, and we're thrilled to include a picture of the sample in this email.

Our manufacturing partner is working to produce the digital sample of 44 BCE. This crucial step ensures that the game meets the quality standards we have. This is an integral part of our quality assurance process.

Once we receive and approve the sample, we will swiftly move forward with mass production, bringing us closer to delivering your copy of 44 BCE.

However, we must address a minor delay in the production of the digital sample. The miniatures have been delayed. Despite our best efforts, unforeseen circumstances have caused a brief setback. We are actively working with our production partners to expedite the process.

In the meantime, we ask those backers who have not yet completed their pledge manager surveys to do so as soon as possible. Your input is essential to accurately fulfill your rewards and ensure a smooth delivery process. We are beyond excited to tell you all artwork has been approved by us and the manufacturer! We will have a physical game sample from the manufacturer (in our hands) before our next update goes out! Once we have it, we will send pictures.

We have 70% of the pledge manager surveys completed. If you have not yet completed the pledge manager, please do so. We would love to see that number get to 100%!

We have been working hard, and are thrilled to tell you about some exciting milestones we have reached.

The rulebook for 44 BCE has been meticulously crafted down to the pixel. We have poured countless hours over the last 18 years (literally) into making it understandable for new players, with the right balance of depth and detail to ensure an epic gaming experience. Announcing it is now locked and loaded for production is huge! Get ready to dive into the world of ancient Roman political intrigue with ease!

We have received samples of the miniatures for the Emperor Edition, and wow, are they spectacular! These will bring the characters and key elements of the game to life on your table. Each miniature encapsulates the essence and personality of its historical counterpart, injecting an extra dose of depth into your gaming. 

The metal prints are now in our possession, and they are magnificent! These prints are bursting with detail that reflects the dedication poured into every aspect of the game's production.

Finally, hold onto your laurel wreaths because we have saved the best for last – all the artwork for 44 BCE has received the official seal of approval from our manufacturing partner! The rich and evocative illustrations will draw you into the immersive historical setting, characters, and game events. With this green light, we are almost ready to start full-blown production!

First and foremost, we want to express our sincere appreciation for your unwavering support and belief in 44 BCE! Your enthusiasm and dedication have been invaluable throughout this journey, and we are immensely grateful to have you as part of our community as we enter the final stages.

The rulebook is practically complete, but we need your help! Your name is an integral part of making 44 BCE truly special, and we want to include it on the “Founders of Rome” page in recognition of your contribution. Ensure your name is accurately featured by completing the pledge manager survey by Wednesday, June 21 (the pledge manager will remain open but we will no longer be taking names for the rulebook). This small but significant action will forever commemorate your involvement in and support for 44 BCE.

In other news, we are thrilled to announce that we have received samples of the metal coins that will be included in the 44 BCE Emperor Edition. These coins are modeled after the Eid Mar denarius. Our goal is to exude ancient Roman authenticity. Holding these coins has been very exciting for us! We know they will elevate your gaming experience and bring an extra touch of historical immersion to your table. We cannot wait to get these coins in your hands (it's not too late to get the Emperor Edition)!
